The LOK4 System

LOK4 - Locksmith Only Keys is an advanced key system that ensures that your new keys are cut to perfection to ensure your locks open everytime without any clicking or dragging. This will keep your lock more secure, reduce wear and increase your  lock life.

LOK4 was developed by locksmiths due to the frustration they had seen from their clients who have had keys cut in fast key cutting outlets, only to find these keys are inaccurate and far from factory specifications. This means that a poorly cut key reproduced from a key that is itself poorly cut just accumulates the errors until the lock becomes unusable. (just like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy becomes unreadable)


 LOK4 ensures that when you have a key cut it is an Original key and not a copy of a copy. We locksmiths refer to this as returning your lock to factory specifications.

Only trained professional locksmiths can cut a LOK4 key which guarantees the standard and quality of the key cutting process. It is not a restricted key system and can be cut by any competent locksmith at competitive market prices.

Every new LOK4 key is unique usually with it's own key cutting code which a Locksmith can retrieve from a secure data source. This is the actual key design which they then use to create your key using high tech key cutting machines.
